WebJun 30, 2024 · Since the technology is different (OLE editing in Windows and Round Trip editing in Mac) it is not possible to edit the structures present in the Word document (which was created using ChemDraw for Windows and Word for Windows) on a Mac machine using Word for Mac and ChemDraw for Mac. WebWhen I tried pasting a ChemDraw file into word it just appears blank, and when I go to edit it, it opens up the correct structure in ChemDraw. Thinking it was a compatibility issue with that version of office I switched to Microsoft Office 13, but the same issue applies (to word and powerpoint).
